HGV
ADR
ADR or Accord Dangereux Routier vehicles are used for the transportation of dangerous goods such as fuel or corrosives. A special license is required in order to drive an ADR vehicle.
Although there are some C Class ADR vehicles a majority are C+E Class so you will initially need that on your driving license. Take a look at the 2 photos of an ADR license on the right and below of the various payloads that require an ADR vehicle to transport them

General Information on HGV Driver Training at AYM1
Here at AYM1 Training, we can help you from arranging your medical right up to helping with your Digi Card application.
Our HGV courses last 5 days with the last day being your test. Our trainers will guide you through the theory and practical tests(Modules 2 & 4) as well as helping with your driving skills.
Our facilities include a large area where you can practice manoeuvring the vehicle before taking it out on the open road.
Not sure whether driving an HGV is for you? Don’t worry as we can arrange a session where you can get the feel of the vehicle before deciding upon having lessons.
As we train drivers on the days preceding their test, please give us a call or send us an e-mail and we can advise you as to when your training can begin.
PLEASE NOTE:- Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all driver training is currently suspended until further notice.
